Who will make their way through to the final of the 22nd Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel?

Numerous visitors found their way to the Münichauer Wiese in Reith near Kitzbühel for the first match of the day, which was a qualifier for the Casablanca Cup (match for fifth place). The conditions for the perfect polo day were also great on Saturday: Blue skies, sunshine, ideal ground conditions, full house, both in the VIP tent as well as on the public area.

Team Tiger Frontier / Scaleluna and Team Casablanca lost their opening matches and wanted to pave the way for 5th place today. The score was tied for a long time, with the other team always managing to equalize when they fell behind. In the end, however, Peter Cromm's Tiger Frontier / Scaleluna team had the upper hand. With Agustin Wagner and Richard Blake Thomas, he defeated Glenn Lostritto, Juan Redlich and Naco Taverna 5 - 3.

The opponent for the two teams from the first game was decided between Team Bentley and Team Bendura Bank. Melissa Ganzi and her Argentinian partners Martin Juaregui and Alejandro Novillo Astrada won 8 - 3 ½ in the end.

The last two matches decided who would go through to the grand final of the 22nd Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2025.

Team Engel & Völkers and Team World Polo League kicked things off. Both were convincing in their matches on Friday, but Engel & Völkers team captain Jan-Hendrik Többe was pleased that his second match was scheduled a little later. And, as expected, the game was hard-fought. Both teams gave their all in front of a sold-out crowd, but Team World Polo League, led by Grant Ganzi, who had already won yesterday in the last second, also won this game 7-6 in the end.

The road to the title will be rocky, as their opponent in tomorrow's final match is none other than defending champions Intocast. Against Veuve Clicquot, Matthias Normann, Micky Duggan and Martin Donovan were able to make up the 1 ½ goal handicap they have due to their better handicap. The match ended 8 to 5 ½ and so tomorrow's final is Team Intocast against Team World Polo League. Both teams go into the final with the same handicap of +12, so an exciting match can be expected.

The entry to the public area is free. Tickets for the VIP-tent (food and beverage included) can be purchased under https://kitzbuehelpolo.ticket.io/ or at the front desk.
